How Contracts Work

Once a customer approves your estimate, you can generate a contract for them to sign digitally. The contract includes all the project details from your estimate.

Create contract from approved estimate

2. Send

Email contract to customer

3. Sign

Customer signs digitally

Creating a Contract

To generate a contract:

  1. 1 Open the project from your dashboard
  2. 2 Click "Generate Contract"
  3. 3 Review the contract details (auto-filled from estimate)
  4. 4 Add any additional terms or notes if needed
  5. 5 Send to customer for signature

Contract Status

Track where each contract is in the signing process:

Sent

Contract emailed to customer

Viewed

Customer opened the contract

Signed

Contract signed and complete

Pending

Waiting for customer to sign

Customer Experience

When you send a contract, your customer:

  • • Receives an email with a link to view the contract
  • • Can review all project details and pricing
  • • Signs electronically by typing their name or drawing a signature
  • • Gets a copy of the signed contract automatically

Digital signatures are legally binding and meet e-signature requirements.
